Here we have what looks to be the very first recording by Willie Creager's Dance Orchestra from August 3, 1923.
Other than Creager, no other personnel is listed in the discographies that I have.
Also, I can't find any info on McNalpak's Dance Orchetsra which plays a waltz on the flip.
hi I'm Willie Creager's granddaughter . . . and have much of his sheet music, photos, etc. Do you have anymore recordings by him?

Hello! Thanks for commenting on this blog. I do have at least one more 78 (Velvet Tone 1922 - Daddy Won't You Please Come Home). When I find it again, I will definitely post it here. I will ask some facebook friends if they might have any recordings that they can post as well.
ReplyDeleteThe Velvet Tone 78 can be seen in this facebook album. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1110558003180.2016130.1203772737&type=3&l=0f6541395b
